Acknowledging the Recent Bushfires

Green Wind Renewables acknowledges the recent bushfires that have impacted communities across the Shires of Chittering, Coorow, Dandaragan, Gingin, Moora, Victoria Plains and West Arthur.

Over recent days, large and fast-moving fires have caused significant damage across parts of the Mid West and Wheatbelt, affecting farmland, infrastructure and areas of cultural and historical importance.

We recognise the profound impact these events have had on local landholders, communities and businesses. The loss of crops and property, combined with the damage to sites of cultural significance, is deeply distressing and will be felt for some time.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES), volunteer bushfire brigades, emergency responders and the local councils who have worked tirelessly under challenging conditions to protect lives and property. We also acknowledge the strength and resilience shown by communities supporting one another during this difficult time.

Green Wind Renewables’ thoughts are with everyone affected. We encourage community members to continue following official advice, remain vigilant as the fire season continues, and access available support services where needed.

We remain committed to working respectfully alongside our host communities and will continue to listen and offer support where appropriate as recovery efforts progress.
